Program Overview
1. Learn to Play 
For ages 4 to 8 years old, if you are looking to make the jump into hockey; this is where the journey begins! We offer Learn to Play programs year round in 12 week sessions where boys and girls will learn the basics of skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting.
As the session progresses, players will learn positions, where to be, and how to play the game. We provide safe, positive, and progressive hockey skills training catered to each player’s ability level. All programming mirrors that of the USA Hockey Athletic Development Model, not only bettering the hockey player, but the athlete, as well!

2. NESC Development league
The New England Sports Center Development League aims to provide an avenue for fun and progressive skill development in a positive and safe environment. Our league is committed to offering a low cost, less commitment, and minimal-travel program to develop your son or daughter within the great game of Hockey.
League Hightlights:
- 8U Division: 2012 birth years & Below playing half-Ice
- 10U Division: 2010 & 2011 birth years playing full-ice
- 24 week season from September to end of March
- One (1) practice and one (1) game each week
- 1 Skills Clinic for all participants monthly
- 48 total ice touches with an additional 7 monthly skills clinics
- All games, practices, and clinics played at New England Sports Center
- Teams formed through player parity evaluations the week before start of season
- Jersey and socks for each player (included in cost)
- Practices to be held on Wednesdays around 6:00 pm
- Games to be played on Saturdays between 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Dedicated USA Hockey certified coaching staff led by a high level of coaching or playing experience
- Focus of developing hockey skills, as well as, life skills through teamwork, camaraderie, discipline and work ethic
- Programming of practices emphasizing repetition, puck touches, and timely feedback & correction
8U: $795 per player
10U: $995 per player

3. Minuteman Sparks Mite Developmental Team

4. Minuteman Flames and Lady Flames
The Minuteman Flames Minor Hockey Association is one of the largest and most competitive Elite and AAA Programs in New England for
both boys and girls. The program offers an active practice and game schedule, skills sessions, and professional coaching.
The Minuteman Flames practice and play their home games at the New England Sports Center, a state-of-the-art facility
located in Marlboro, MA, with 8 NCAA Regulation surfaces. The facility is centrally located in New England.
The program offers an active practice and game schedule, typically two games on the weekend and two full-sheet 80 minute practices
per week on a set schedule. Skills sessions are also available from professionals and Stop It Goaltending as an integral part of the program.
The Minuteman Flames offer a number of boy and lady teams. The Minuteman Flames Program has a competent, experienced coaching
staff dedicated to making the youth hockey experience one that is fun, while building character and proficiency in the sport.
